Christmas Pulp Covers, Part One

There's nothing like some Christmas covers to get in the mood, right? I think my favorite out of this lot is the first one from ALL-STORY.

Nice selection. I favor the 1945 Blue Book cover. They needed a peaceful Christmas after several years of war.

I am quite fond of the All Story cover as it is so evocative. I really like the Popular cover with Santa in a balloon, also I like the BlueBook cover. I am quite sure they more than a few especially during WW II. And by golly you found a S&S Love Story (is that from your personal collection? Galactic Central is a bit thin on the romance pulps. I own a copy of the Adventure and I have always though it looks as much like Halloween as Xmas. Must be the black cat.

I like the DETECTIVE STORY cover showing the child happily looking at the burglar. Probably thinks he is Santa Claus.

Is that the mayor of Toronto on the Adventure cover?
